St Paul's Manuka: St Paul's

Choristers wanted for Junior Choir.

The Director of Music, Julia Golding is developing a Junior Choir at St Pauls Manuka to commence as soon as possible. If you, as a parent or grandparent, have a talented musical cherub in your family please let Julia know.

Since 2005, Julia has also conducted various Junior Choirs in Sydney including the St Mary's Junior Choir, Australian Girls Choir and the Burgundian Consort (resident at UNSW).

St Ninian's Uniting Church, Lyneham: St Ninian's

St Ninian's choir has been affiliated with the RSCM for 21 years. Current membership fluctuates between 13 and 15 persons. New members will be made to feel very welcome.

The choir provides all music for the 9.30 am service each Sunday, including anthems and introits. In addition, the choir provides all music and readings for special services on Palm Sunday and in Advent on the Sunday before Christmas.

Practice times: 8.00 - 9.00pm Thursdays, and 9.00-9.15am prior to the 9.30am service on Sundays.

St John's Church, Reid: St John's

St John's choir is always interested in hearing from potential new members. They sing regular Book of Common Prayer services, varied from week to week. Usually one Eucharist, one Mattins and an Evensong every month.

In the Anglical choral tradition, they sing traditional anthems, canticles and communion settings dating from the 16th century to more recent times.

Practice times: 6.00 - 7.30pm Thursdays, and prior to the services on Sundays.
